 An update on admissions to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria on the 19th Policy Meeting approved 160 and above as the national minimum benchmark for admission for the year 2020 into public universities.

It was also adopted on the meeting that 120 marks as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into Polytechnics and the college of Education.

In this regard, some schools set departmental cut off marks/points above the JAMB minimum cut off thereby conducting further screening for her candidates.  You can easily apply for JAMB change of institution/Course if necessary. This can be done during or after the JAMB examination.

How to Change Institution/Course yourself:

Gone are the days when candidates go to JAMB offices or cyber café to pay for Jamb Change of Course/Institution, walk to banks to do transaction before it can be done. But now, digital systems have taken away all that. With your ATM cards activated for online payment, you can buy/pay for anything you feel like all through the internet platform.

Here, I am giving you steps to pay and do JAMB change of course/Institution in the case of any score deficiency and or changes of any kind.

Do not make plans to visit any JAMB offices or Cyber café to do this except and otherwise if there exists any difficulty our team in this site cannot offer.

Please follow the steps below to do your changes: Institution/course, gender, passport, LGA, Names arrangement, etc.

Step 1:

Login to JAMB portal on https://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility/ with email and password

Step 2:

Click on Registration (2020 Only) located on the left side pane on the dashboard and click on 2020 UTME data correction and 2020 DE data correction as applicable to candidates.

Step 3: Select the correction option

Step 4: Click on make New payment

Step 5:  Select payment option and make payment

Step 6: After successful payment, click continue,

Step 7: Choose your correction option again: Change of Institution/Course, LGA, Date of Birth,
Name, Gender, etc.

Step 8: Submit and print acknowledgment slip

Note: Once you click submit, you cannot edit again except you make the payment again.
